Once trained, it is important to provide your managers and internal coaches with an ongoing level of professional development, both in terms of the company’s benefit from coaching and in terms of retention – coaches tend to be dynamic people who demand a high level of training and development in order to keep their own professional expertise moving forwards.
At Corporate Potential, we have a variety of ways in which we can support your internal coaches in this development:
Advanced Corporate Coaching Training Programmes:
We can design and deliver a bespoke advanced coach training programme that develops your existing coaches and supports your business aspirations and drivers. We will take the time to find out what level your existing coaches are at and what is required from them by your organisation. With this information, we will then ensure that the programme starts and completes at the required levels for your business. We deliver an innovative mix of multi-media blended learning materials that allow you and your coaches to design an individual training experience – a mix of face-to-face training, audio materials (delivered via MP3 player/CD/DVD/web), teleconferencing and one-to-one mentoring – depending on your aspirations, business environment and budget.
Our coach training was nominated last year by our client LogicaCMG as “Best Externally Developed and Delivered Training Programme of The Year” at the National Training Awards and was shortlisted in this category. It has also been featured in a variety of business and personnel press articles.

Masterclasses and Workshops:
We can provide interactive advanced coaching skills programmes and workshops on specific themes or generically on coaching skills. From half day to extended programmes, we can enhance their effectiveness and their enjoyment of their coaching:
International Coach Federation accreditation:
In an unregulated profession, the International Coach Federation (ICF), provide an excellent professional development framework for coaches at all levels of experience. The credential system creates a system of peer review and career development for coaches as well as an exam system that adds credibility and kudos to your internal coaches, in addition to enhancing their effectiveness and career development. We can provide workshops and individual support towards this system. Our coaches are ICF credentialed and our Director of Coaching is an assessor on the ICF exam process so we are well placed to provide this support and professional development.
Find out more about accreditation..We also run a free professional development teleforum exclusively for internal coaches. This group meets monthly by teleconference and has a maximum of sixteen members at any one stage (maximum two members per company) and is completely free to attend.
Open Programmes:
We run open programmes on coaching skills to allow companies to invest in just one or a few places rather than running an in house programme. For more details on current programmes please visit the Events page. If you do not see what you are looking for, then please let us know and we can talk to you about how we might help or set up an open event in your area.
All programmes are backed up with extensive written materials and access to our online support for internal coaches and managers.
