The very notion of accreditation in coaching is enough to cause a storm of dissent and argument in the coaching world. Many coaches argue that accreditation deadens creativity and reduces results in coaching.
We disagree.
It is our experience that working in alignment with the International Coach Federation’s core coaching competencies, enables our team and those coaches that we train to have a clear development pathway and a proven level of professionalism in an unregulated profession.
We have found the competencies to be foundational and developmental rather than limiting and the act of being peer reviewed is an essential one in all other professions.
The credential system offers a series of entry points based on the individual’s coaching experience and training hours. The process is rigourous, developmental and educational.
Our own coaches are all developing themselves in alignment with this system and we have various options for supporting your coaches in this way. We can deliver In House Credential Workshops for your coaches and we can deliver Coach Supervision and Mentoring either in groups or individually.
All of our coach training can be used towards a portfolio application for an ICF credential.
We also run specific open events for corporate coaches wishing to formalise their training as a credentialed coach and occasional informational teleforums and meetings on the subject.
